Moong Ka Halwa :-


Hello friends, one of the most famous desserts of india is Moong Ka Halwa. It is prepared at almost every occasion like marriage reception, birthday party etc. Almost all people like it but always failed when they tried to make it at home.

No tension, i know its perfect recipe and i will definitely tell it to you.Well
today i am going to share its recipe with all of you. So just follow the below steps and make hot & tasty Moong Ka Halwa. 


Ingredients :-


  • 1 cup yellow moong dal (soaked and ground to a paste) 
  • 1/2 cup ghee 
  • 1 teaspoon almonds (sliced) 
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder 
  • 2 cups sugar 
  • 1 cup water 

Recipe :-


1.) Heat ghee in a pan.


2.) Add moong dal paste.


3.) Cook on medium heat till it turns light pink.


4.) In a seprate pan, dissolve sugar in hot water and let it boil for 5 minutes.


5.) Add sugar syrup to the moong dal.


6.) Mix it well.


7.) Add cardamom and stir it into the halwa.


8.)Garnish it with almonds.

Tip :-
To avoid moong dal sticking to the pan, start with half the quantity of ghee and keep adding one tablespoon of ghee to the pan while cooking.
