Manchurian :-

Hello friends, today i am going to tell you a very popular Chinese recipe. Well you all like the taste of the Manchurian but don't know its recipe. It is a very popular dish prepared with vegetables. So don't wait just take a
note on the recipe of Manchurian & Have fun.

Ingredients :-

  • 2 cups finely chopped capsicum, cabbage, carrot, beans and spring onion.
  • 2 tablespoon maida.
  • 2 tablespoon cornflour
  • 1/2 tablespoon rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic-green chilli paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon soya sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • Warm water as required (less than 1/2 cup is needed)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying

For Gravy :-

  • 1/4 cup spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon finely minced garlic
  • 1/2 tablespoon finely minced ginger
  • 2 finely chopped green chilli
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoon soya sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon chilli sauce
  • 2 teaspoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • salt as required
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 – 2 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves

Method :-

1.) Heat oil for deep frying in a pan.

2.) In a bowl, combine maida, cornflour, rice flour, salt, ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, pepper powder, soya sauce, salt and all the finely chopped vegetables. 

3.) Sprinkle little water to make a thick mixture. 

4.) Add water (use only as much water as required to form small balls.) 

5.) Make small balls of the mixture.

6.) Carefully place each ball into the hot oil. 

7.) Reduce flame and deep fry the vegetable balls till cooked. 

8.) Increase the flame towards the end of the cooking process and fry till they turn golden brown. 

9.) Remove onto tissue paper and keep aside.

10.) Heat oil in a pan and once the oil is hot, add the chopped garlic and stir fry for a few seconds.

11.) Add the green chillies and ginger and stir fry on high flame for a few seconds.

12.) Add the spring onions and stir fry on high flame for 2 minutes.

13.) Add the vegetable balls and stir fry for another 3 minutes. 

14.) The vegetable balls should be crunchy.

15.) Reduce to medium heat and add the sugar, soya sauce, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce and vinegar. 

16.) Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

17.) Add 3-4 tablespoon of water and cook for 2 minutes.

18.) Toss on high flame for 1-2 minutes.

19.) Turn off heat. 

20.) Garnish with the chopped spring onion coriander leaves.
