Hello friends this is the second part of Diwali Special Sweets. This time it is the recipe of Shakkarpare which is a very important sweet made on the occasion of Diwali. It is generally from market because most of people don't know the recipe of making it. So just note the recipe of Shakkarpare & try it yourself.
- Wheat Flour- 300 grams.
- All Purpose flour - 100 grams.
- Sugar 100 grams.
- Fennel seeds (Saunf) - 1 teaspoon.
- Ghee - 1/4 cup.
- Ghee- for frying.
1.) Take wheat flour in a bowl & add maida & saunf in it.
2.) Now dissolve the sugar in water & add it to the flour.
3.) Add ghee & sugar water as needed & knead a stiff dough.
4.) Now roll the dough in thick chapatis & cut into small dices.
5.) Heat ghee in a pan & deep fry the dices until they turn golden brown & take them out.
Your Tasty & crispy shakkarpare is ready to eat. You can also make a sugar syrup & dip them after frying. For this you have to skip the use of water in step 3 & make a sugar syrup & dip them for 5 minutes. So you can make shakkarpar by both methods.
