Paneer Kulche :-

Hello friends, in India specially in Punjab a very famous mouth watering recipe is Paneer Kulche. It is prepared with the dough of Maida & with the stuffing of Cottage Cheese. So i am sharing the recipe of Paneer Kulche with all of you so that you can also make it at your home.


Ingredients :-

For Dough:

2 cups all purpose flour (maida.)

1/2 cup warm milk.

1/4 cup curd/yogurt.

1/4 tsp salt.

1/2 tsp sugar.

3/4 tsp baking powder.

water for kneading.

3 tsps sesame seeds.

2 tbsps butter/ghee.

For stuffing :

1/4 cup grated paneer.

1 onion finely chopped.

2 finely chopped green chilies.

1 tsp chaat masala.

pinch of red chili powder..

salt to taste.

Method :-

1.) Take Flour, Baking Powder and Salt in a bowl.

2.) Pour Sugar, Milk, Yogurt and slowly combine, to form a soft dough.

3.) Cover the dough with wet cloth and let it rest for 2 hrs.

4.) After two hrs, again knead the dough gently for a minute.

5.) Dust the surface with some flour & take some amount of dough & roll into a thick chapati.

6.) Now to make stuffing mix all the ingredients & form small balls.

7.) Now Place a ball of stuffing in the center of the chapati and enclose it from all sides and roll into a ball.

8.) Dust the surface again with flour and roll the ball into a thick roti. 

9.) Sprinkle few sesame seeds on top and lightly roll with a rolling pin.

10.) Prepare chapatis with rest of the dough.

11.) Heat an iron pan, once hot, place the Kulcha and cook for 15-20 secs on high flame.

12.) Flip over and cook the other side for another 15-20 secs.

13.) Apply some ghee or butter and roast for a few seconds on each side and remove.
