Hello Friends, this is the third part of Diwali Special Sweets. This time it's the recipe of Gajar Ka Halwa made of Carrots & Milk. It is a traditional dessert which is made generally on most of occasion. So
just have a look on the below written recipe of Gajar Ka Halwa.
- Grated Carrot - 1 kg.
- Milk - 1 litre.
- Mava - 1/2 kg.
- Powdered Cardamom - 1-2 teaspoon.
- Sliced dry fruits - 1 cup. (like Almonds, Cashew nuts, Raisins, Pistachios etc.)
- Ghee - 2 tablespoon.
- Sugar - 1/2 kg. (You can take sugar as per your taste)
1.) Take ghee in pressure cooker & saute grated carrots for 5 minutes by stirring continuously.
2.) Now add milk & cover with a lid cook for 10-15 minutes.
3.) Now take it in a pan & add mawa & stir for 10 minutes.
4.) Now add sugar & mix well then cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
5.) Add cardamom powder & dry fruits & again mix well.
So your Gajar ka Halwa is ready to serve. Garnish it with sliced almonds, cashew nuts & pistachios. Serve it hot. It is very a simple & quick recipe. So don't wait & try it at your home. For any questions or suggestions just comment below.
