Today, i am sharing a dessert recipe of India which is very famous among Indian people, it is Carrot Kheer. It is made up of carrot which is cooked in milk added with some flavors like cardamom etc. So just note the recipe & try it yourself.
- Carrot grated - 1 bowl.
- Ghee - 3 tablespoon.
- Cashew-nuts - 10-15.
- Milk - around 5 cups.
- Sugar - 1/2 cup.
- Green cardamom powder - 1 teaspoon.
1.) Firstly take ghee in a pan & saute cashew-nuts for 5 minutes.
2.) Now remove the Cashew-nuts from the pan & add carrots to the same pan.
3.) Now saute the carrots in the pan for 2-3 minutes then add the milk.
4.) Now cook the carrots in the pan with milk until the milk gets reduced to 3/4th.
5.) Now add sugar to the milk & cook until sugar gets dissolved.
6.) Finally add the cardamom powder & cashew-nuts & mix well.
7.) Cook until you get your desired consistency of kheer.
