Hello friends today i am sharing a Indian vegetable recipe with all of you. It is Matar Paneer. It is a seasonal Indian recipe with a paneer touch. So i am providing you the recipe so that you can also make it at your home. So just take a look at the recipe written below.
- 100g paneer - chopped in squares.
- 1 cup shelled peas.
- 2 tbsp. oil.
- 1 medium size onion .
- 1-2 green chillies .
- 1/2" piece ginger .
- 6 tbsp. tomato puree .
- 1/4- red chilli powder .
- 1/2 tsp. cumin powder .
- 1/2 tsp. garam masala powder .
- Cashewnuts - optional .
- Salt to taste.
1.) Grind together onion, green chillies, ginger to make a paste.
2.) Fry this masala for 4 to 5 minutes in a non-stick pan.
3.) Add tomato puree, garam masala, cumin powder, peas and sprinkle 1 tbsp. water.
4.) Now transfer this to a microwave proof dish and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
5.) Add salt, chopped paneer 5 tbsp. water and cashew nuts and mix gently.
6.) Cover the dish & again microwave for 5 minutes.
7.) Or you can also make this vegetable without microwave. For making it on gas just cook the vegetable on slow flame in a non-stick pan for the above mentioned time & vegetable will be prepared with same taste.
