Hi friends, in the summer season, what we like the most is Ice cream. They taste yummy and also gives us relief from hot weather. There is also an Indian Ice cream, called Kulfi, prepared in a Matka by milk. It is very popular among Indians. It is nutritious as well as it tastes yum. So below is the recipe of Matka Kulfi, by which you can make it at your home.

Ingredients :-

  • Milk - 1½ liter.
  • Sugar - ¼ cup.
  • Saffron - Few strands.
  • Almonds - 10-12 (Roasted)
  • Cardamom powder - a pinch.

Method :-

1.) Take milk in a pan and boil it until it becomes 1/3rd of its total quantity.

2.) Now add sugar to the milk.

3.) Soak saffron in 2 table spoon of milk and add it to the milk-sugar mixture.

4.) Now chop the roasted almonds and add it to the milk.

5.) Add to it a pinch of cardamom powder to give it extra flavor.

6.) Now allow it to cool.

7.) Once it comes to the normal room temperature, pour it in the Matkas, or any container.

8.) Allow it to freeze for 4-5 hours.
